Exoplanets are notoriously difficult to detect, and even more difficult to detect are exomoons: moons orbiting exoplanets. However, exomoons are believed to be at least as common as exoplanets. A new study points to a source where exomoons may be more easily detected: isolated planetary-mass objects, also known as rogue or nomadic planets.
