In case you missed the update of this post, Orbital Sciences corrected a Space News story that said the pad preparations were late and this would lead to a delay in the first Antares launch till December. As indicated in this new Space News item, the pad is in fact nearly ready and the Antares should launch a month or so after its hand over to Orbital. The first Antares/Cygnus mission to the ISS is set for December: Virginia Spaceport Poised To Turn Pad Over to Orbital This Month - SpaceNews.com.
