PARALLEL PREPARATIONS CONTINUE FOR UPCOMING ARIANE 5 FLIGHTS

Launch activity is in full swing at French Guiana as preparations move forward for Ariane 5's first two missions in 2010. Payload processing for Arianespace's first heavy-lift launch campaign - which will orbit ASTRA 3B and COMSATBw-2 on March 24 - is continuing apace as the two passengers are prepared for their March 24 liftoff. In parallel, the satellites for Ariane 5's no. 2 mission have begun their checkout at the Spaceport.
