The First T2K Neutrino Event Observed at Super-Kamiokande

Tsukuba, February 24, 2010. Physicists from Tokai To Kamioka collaboration announced today that they had made the first detection of a neutrino which had travelled from their neutrino beamline to the Super- Kamiokande underground detector.
