THE SECOND PASSENGER FOR ARIANE 5’S YEAR-OPENING FLIGHT IS IN FRENCH GUIANA

Germany's COMSATBw-2 has arrived in French Guiana, joining this secure relay platform with its "sister" payload, ASTRA 3B - which is undergoing pre-launch checkout at the Spaceport. This upcoming dual-payload mission - planned for March 24 - will kick off Arianespace's schedule of seven Ariane 5 missions in 2010.
