The Moon Io Will Go Into Eclipse 2 Hours After The Planet Rises And Ends Occultation Forty-Five Minutes After Midnight. Early In The Morning The Great Red Spot Will Transit &We'll Get To See It From Start To Finish. Mid-Transit Will Be 4:48 EDT / 08:48 September 8, 2010.On September 8-9, 2010, Jupiter Rises At 20:04 EDT / 00:04 UTC And Has A Magnitude Of -2.91. AS Jupiter Rises The Moon Io Is In Transit And One And Half Hours Io's Shadow Will End It's Transit. Then Less Than Thirty Minutes Later Io It's Self Will End its Transit Too. We Will Get To See The Great Red Spot Transit The Face Of Jupiter From Start To Finish With Mid-Transit At 00:39 EDT / 04:39 UTC On September 9, 2010.
