On September 11-12, 2010, Jupiter Rises At 19:51 EDT / 23:51 UTC And Has A Magnitude Of -2.92. The Great Red Spot Will Be At Mid-Transit Early On And We Will Get To See The Transit From Start To Finish.On September 12-13, 2010, Jupiter Rises At 19:47 EDT / 23:47 UTC And Has A Magnitude Of -2.92. We Have Two Eclipses Late To Early In The Morning. The First One To Lead The Way Is Europa. Five Hours Later will Be Followed By Io And It Will Not End Being Occulted Until After Sunrise. Also We Have The Great Red Spot At Mid-Transit Early In The Morning. So If You Are Up All Night You Will Get To See The Transit From Start To Finish.
