So That Means We Will Get To See All Of The Transit From Start To Finish. You Will Get To See The Moon Europa Appear To Be 9" Arc Seconds Above The Moon Io. To See More On This Look At My Charts.On September 2-3, 2010, Jupiter Rises At 20:29 EDT / 00:29 UTC And Has A Magnitude Of -2.90. If You Get Up Before Sunrise You Can Catch The First Half Of The Transit Of The Great Red Spot And May See It At Mid-Transit Before Sunrise.
