If You Get Up Before Sunrise You May Get To See The First Half Of The Great Red Spot Transit. Look For It On The Eastern Limb Of The Planet.On August 22-23, 2010, Jupiter Rises At 21:15 EDT / 01:15 UTC And Has A Magnitude Of -2.86. Tonight Just Before Midnight Io Will Ingres Into Jupiter's Shadow Just A Few Arc Seconds Away From The Western Limb. Also We Will Get To See The Great Red Spot Transit From Start To Finish.
