On August 5-6, 2010, Jupiter Rises At 22:25 EDT / 02:25 UTC And Has A Magnitude Of -2.77. Ganymede's Shadow Will Transit Jupiter, Followed By The Moon It Self. Then 2 Minutes After Ganymede Starts to Transit Then Io's Shadow Will Transit The Face Of Jupiter. Also You Will Get To See The Great Red Spot Transit From Start To Finish.On August 6-7, 2010, Jupiter Rises At 22:21 EDT / 02:21 UTC And Has A Magnitude Of -2.77. The Moon Io Will All Most Be 1 Arc Minute As It Ingres Into Jupiter's Shadow. Later On If You're Still Up You Will Get To See Io Come Out Of Being Occulted. Also You Should Get To See The Last Half Of The Transit Of The Great Red Spot Just After Jupiter Rises.
