On August 1-2, 2010, Jupiter Rises At 22:41 EDT / 02:41 UTC And Has A Magnitude -2.74. It's Going To Be A Slow Night Here On Callisto So I'll Take In The View. I'll Try To Catch The Last Half Of The Transit Of The Great Red Spot And It You May Only Get It To See IT ON The Western Limb Of The Planet. On August 2-3, 2010, Jupiter Rises At 22:37 EDT / 02:37 UTC And Has A Magnitude Of -2.75. Early In The Morning Europa's Shadow Will Start To Transit Jupiter's Face. Also If You're up To See The Start Of Europa's Shadow Transit, And You Should Be Able To See The Great Red Spot Transit From Start To Finish.
