Tonight at our weekly public stargazing event at McAllister park we will be demonstrating what most professional astronomers do these days. Instead of looking through eyepieces we will have a special astronomical video camera aimed at the moon.
Setup will begin at 7:30 so the public can see how a telescope works and discuss astronomy and watch the slow progression from daylight to night sky.
This is free to everyone. Come to the dog park or look for the signs in the park.
Clear skies and keep looking up!
