This episode of The Astroholic LIVE features the absolutely incredible Meera Patel, a mathematician and professional dancer, who tells us about the connection between the two disciplines. You can follow her on Facebook and Instagram.
We briefly discussed the InSight mission to Mars which, at the time of the broadcast, had yet to land on Mars (more here). We also talked about conspiracy theories as the news picked up a story that showed just how many people believe in one conspiracy theory or another. A research paper about it was published in Current Biology.
Among the conspiracy theories we discussed there were:

The Earth being flat
The Moon landing being faked
Aliens/UFOs
Planet 9/Nibiru

What are your favourite conspiracy theories? Which one do you really want to believe even though you know it’s nonsense? One of mine is the belief that Mesas are the remains of giant trees. Let me know yours!
