Florida’s delegation presses for Kennedy Space Center launch support money for NASA’s next big rocket
Florida Politics (4/12): Many in Florida’s Congressional delegation are urging their leadership to fully fund ground systems upgrades at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center to accompany development of the Space Launch System (SLS) and Orion crew capsule for future human missions of deep space exploration. The construction of a second mobile launch platform for the SLS is among their concerns. (CORRECTION: Dr. Brian Babin is a member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Texas and chairs the Space Subcommittee there). A bi-partisan group of U.S. Senators is urging similar action.
