Following on from visits to NASA Ames Research Center and Airbus A3, the delegation returned to Silicon Valley, first to visit Made In Space, a "new space" startup which uses 3D printed/additive manufacturing technology for use in the space environment.The company's experience and expertise with regard to 3D printing in zero-gravity has led to the first 3D printers designed for use on the International Space Station. Business Development Engineer, Brad Kohlenberg, spoke about the startup story of Made In Space a number of 3D printed tools that can now be used in space."I really enjoyed hearing the startup story and the haptics of the 3D printed objects" – anonymous CEO from the delegation
