After a first day of welcomes and introductions, the first events of the main programme got underway.It started off with a visit to the Autodesk Gallery in San Francisco, which explores the future of making things through exhibits that showcase pioneering design and inventive engineering.

"I really loved the hands-on examples, exhibits and displays". – one of the delegatesIn the afternoon we hosted a “startup exchange” – an opportunity to connect space startups, organisations and accelerators in and around San Francisco with our delegation.Each startup/participant was given the chance to introduce themselves in a short pitching session before business speed dating. Participants could share their professional background and business goals, as well as seek exposure to new markets in a series of exchanges.
