We are amazed by the desert and the ocean, but we are sad as we are approaching Tocopilla, our last stop for activities in schools. As usual, our trip is longer than expected, and we arrive in Tocopilla at two in the morning, after a brief break in the desert to look at the stars. The desert is at more than one thousand meter on the sea level, but just few kilometres from the ocean. And on the narrow strip of flat land that connects the ocean with the desert lies Tocopilla, a little fisherman town.
