Armagh Observatory reports that October 2014 was warmer than
the average for the month, with an average temperature of 10.7
degrees Celsius, approximately 0.6 C warmer than the most
recent 30-year (1981–2010) average October temperature at
Armagh, which is 10.12 C. This month also recorded the highest
maximum temperature on record at Armagh for Halloween, that is
October 31st, when the mercury reached 17.9 degrees C.
