If predictions are right 2013 this month sees the first of two extremely bright comets.
The other comet will be visible later in the year.
COMET PANSTARRS C/2011 L4 – This bright comet is due to become a 3rd magnitude object after sunset from the 12h of the month. It will be
visible in the western sky just after sunset and should be visible for a number of weeks. Will it live up to expectations? Comets are extremely
unpredictable, but absolutely glorious when they do perform well. More details, diagrams and animations are on my Blog.
