In his PandoDaily interview the other night, Elon Musk talked about some technologies in which he is interested and mentioned a transport concept he calls "Hyperloop"(around 44:00). He described its general benefits but gave no details on its actual design. Today he said this - Twitter / elonmusk: Will publish something on the Hyperloop in about four weeks. Will forgo patents on the idea and just open source it. Not a vac tunnel btw.
