China on Sunday accomplished another first for its space program as taikonaut Liu Wang took manual control and docked Shenzhou 9 with Tiangong-1. The orbital meeting, which was the second in six days for the manned spacecraft and lab module, was called an important step toward China's plans to establish its own space station within the decade.
