NASA’s heliophysics lab compiled these images in multiple wavelengths from the Solar Dynamics Obervatory’s view of the June 5-6 Venus transit across the face of the Sun. Scientists will be studying the images for insight into Venus’ atmosphere as well as interpretation of exoplanet transits over the 105 years until the next Venus transit occurs.
