A new video shot by NASA’s Dawn spacecraft depicts a dappled, variegated surface of the giant asteroid Vesta. Dawn is scheduled to leave Vesta around Aug. 26, 2012 to start a star trek to another giant asteroid Ceres to arrive in February 2015. Both objects are in the Main Asteroid Belt.
