Houston, we have a space shuttle (mockup). The high fidelity replica, which was named "Explorer" for the 18 years it was at NASA's Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex in Florida, will arrive in Houston's Clear Lake, opposite NASA's Johnson Space Center, on Friday. Delivered by barge, the replica's docking will launch "Shuttlebration," a public celebration to mark the arrival, which will culminate Sunday with a three hour, one mile parade to Space Center Houston, where the walkthrough mockup will be placed on outdoor display.
