Here is somebody who has sailed a long way from Argentina to volunteer for duties at the Astronomy Complex on Stargazy Island. Here are his replies to the Visitor Book Questionnaire:-1. How did you get inspired to take up Astronomy or Science? My high school had an observatory tower! It was really cool with a very old refractor telescope. I went there every Saturday for Astronomy lessons for 3 years.2.When did you get your first piece of Astronomy equipment and what was it?I would have to say a pair of binoculars I got when I was a kid, I really liked to use them to study the sky from a small yard I had at home.3.What was the first thing you identified other than the Moon?I think I started with the brightest stars: Sirius, Canopus and Alpha Centauri. Yes I live in the South Hemisphere!4.What is the most exciting astronomical experience you have had to date?I would have to say every bright fireball I'm lucky to see is a fantastic experience. I really like meteors and meteor showers. 5.What object in the night-sky would you like to see that you haven't seen yet?I would like to have a look at Andromeda ...
