Most of us won’t be in the path of the annular eclipse that cuts across the western U.S. this Sunday afternoon. That means we’ll see varying degrees of a partial eclipse. The farther west and south you are, the more of the sun will be eclipsed by the moon. Across the Midwest, about 2/3 of the sun will be covered at maximum eclipse.
