Dear Astrobites Readers,
Part of our mission is to inform undergraduate astronomers about astronomy as a career. As such, the Astrobites authors find it appropriate to share this petition that is circulating in the astronomy community. The petition seeks to help astronomers excel in their academic and family lives by establishing up to twelve weeks of paid parental leave with full health insurance as the normal parental leave policy across all astronomy departments and fellowship programs.
