Entrants into the We-Are-Space Video Contest now have an extra week to hone their videos as the submission deadline has been pushed to June 14th. All the submitted videos will be featured online at Spacevidcast.com/wearespace on June 15th. The sponsors, the Space Frontier Foundation (SFF), Students for the Exploration and Development of Space (SEDS), and Spacevidcast, ask everyone to create a short, well-crafted video that answers the question, "How will emerging low-cost access to space transform both the role of government space agencies and the lives of ordinary citizens?" The winner will be announced and have their video screened at the NewSpace Awards Gala, part of the NewSpace 2011 Conference, where they will also be presented with the $1000 prize. Visit spacefrontier.org/we-are-space for further information about the contest and share the promotional video (linked below) with those you think will be inspired by the question posed.
